Well done to everyone who came along and took part in the Relays.
Teams were changed last minute, so when you check the official results times will not match the actual runner who ran the legs.
A-Team Joint 3rd seniors according to the Results in a time of 1.04.41
Leigh Hiscox 16.33, Steve Pritchard 16.28, Jason Scanlon 15.45, Peter Coles 15.55
B-Team 7th Seniors in 1.11.10, C-Team 10th Vet Team in 1.24.38
Ladies A Team 8th in 1.06.15 Stephanie Davies 21.17, Ceri-Anne Davies 21.29, Debbie Jones 23.29.
B-Team 11th in 1.10.07 C-Team 16th in 1.17.49

Another very warm evening for the 4 mile race. We had 8 Roadents taking part.
All eyes were on the ladies race between Kelly and Sally of San Dom. Both were locked together until the last mile when Sally managed to put a winning gap between them, Despite coming 2nd on the night Kelly should be very happy with her performance finishing in a new PB of 24.43.
Other Roadents taking part were Steve Hooper 23.41, Rhodri Evans 24.44, Phil Meyler 25.06 1st vet 50 for the series. Dean Birt 27.35, Steph Davies 29.45, Debbie Jones 32.11, Rhian Durham 32.54.

Lets see how many names we have for the Cosmeston Relays.
If you want to run please leave your name, then we can start putting the Teams together.
Six Teams have been entered so far, theres still room for more. This is a great Team event, each runner runs the 3 mile course and then tags the next runner. Lots of support for everyone.

We had 5 Roadents taking part in this very challenging race.
We were unable to maintain our team title from last year. (it went to mynydd Du Fell Club)
Despite being deducted 6 minutes for going the wrong way Daniel Bodman was still 5th. Gwyn Lloyd was 21st followed by Lee Davies 23rd, Neil and Nick Pounder found a Mcdonalds at the summit and stopped for a Quarter Pounder.

A field of more than 300 runners took part in this years race.

We had 13 Roadents taking part, there were lots of PBs on this very fast course.
Performance of the day has to go to Kelly Morgan, Kelly broke the 40 minute barrier for the first time in a fantastic time of 38.26 and was 1st Lady in the race.
Leigh Hiscox continues to improve finishing in 34.50 a PB, it was good to see a smile on Nick Frost’s face as he managed to finish in 34.32, Nick is 50 in four days time and will move upto the vet 50 category.
There were also PBs for Elaine Diosi 55.59, Helen Welch 59.57 Debbie Jones 48.46, Steph Davies 47.53 and Rhodri Evans 38.06 (after working a night shift).
Other Roadents taking part were Daniel Bodman 35.16, Andy Dunscombe 44.02, Rob Ford 44.41, Dean Birt 45.42 and Andy Davies 46.46.

Many thanks to all the runners who came along and took part in this years races.
A great turn out from the club as we had the first five runners to finish, we aslo won the 1st male and female Team prize.
An excellent run from Daniel Bodman, gave him a some what suprise victory over his fellow club mates for the first time.
Daniel took victory in 29.32 and was closely followed by Jason Scanlon 2nd 29.38, Leigh Hiscox 3rd 30.03, Nick Frost 4th and 1st vet 40 30.35, Steve Pritchard 5th 30.49. Other Roadents running were Lee Davies 22nd 35.14, Richard Day 23rd 36.18, CoCo 28th 37.21, Nick Pounder 30th 37.29, Brian Gough 32nd 37.51, Russel Brown 36th 39.01,
In the Ladies race it was Kelly Morgan 1st Lady in 33.56, other Roadents taking part were Stephanie Davies 4th lady 41.14, Anne Follan 6th lady 41.57, Elaine Diosi 14th lady 50.53 and Helen Welch 16th lady 55.24.
