We should have eight teams this year with two Roadents doing the full 22 miles.
REMEMBER ENTRIES MUST BE SENT BY THE END OF THIS WEEK.
As in past years the club will be subsidising this event, the cost of a team of three is £55 the club will pay £25 towards each team which means each member will pay £10 each.
It is hoped that most members will make a night of it and camp out.

The race has come and gone and results will be displayed when available, this is a
thank you to all the members who participated in this years race. In particularly I would
like to thank Andy and Justin for using their cars to ferry the runners to the various start
points, in particular the early stages, thanks to Lee Sutherland for swapping his leg
to run leg 3 where I was encountering problems getting a runner to run that leg and
thanks to Jason who ran a second leg for the B team due to a runner being injured.
My last thanks is to Gwyn Lloyd for his navigational skills. I think we all agree
that it was another great day out for the club and up until stage 6 I did not mind
driving, but then the roadent spirit in you came out and most of you started
drinking and my pleasure in driving you lot around evaporated, so next
year there will be a different driver. Roll on Man v Horse.

There were 131 finishers and we had six Roadents taking part
Peter Coles 6th in 10.50, Kelly Morgan 33rd and 3rd Lady in 12.21, Laurence Pole 38th 12.30, Dean Birt 58th 13.24, Rhian Durham 84th 14.37 a PB by 1 min 30 sec’s, Rob Phillips 91st 14.57.

There were 655 finishers and we had 9 Roadents taking part.
Daniel Bodman 5th in a new PB 28.10, once again Dan forgot to put his chip on.
David Hughes 59th 32.51, Thomas Murphy 62nd 32.59, Laurence Pole 73rd 33.33, Rob Ford 133rd 35.59, Carl Edwards 230th 39.09, Jan Edwards 246th 39.58. Elaine Diosi 453rd a PB in 45.48, Helen Welsh 484th a PB in 46.58
Well done to Rowan Welsh who is just 4 years old and ran the 2k and also managed a sprint finish.
I think I have found everyone who ran, let me know if anyone is missing
