We have always had a good turn out for this event, it’s great fun only 1 mile but what a lung buster. It’s next Friday and the start will be on the Llandaff Fields (Cathedral Road).

We had 4 mens and 4 ladies Teams. There was a little confusion with the results as we did have some mixed Teams.

Just scraped under 4 hours,tougher than i thought it would be,some of the hills were deceiving and the descents were quite tricky with a lot of loose rock. Nice river crossing at 18 mile which i walked through this time not like man v horse!The heat didnt help either!
Beautiful part of the lake district and well worth the drive
There were 381 Finishers and we had 12 Roadents taking part.
First Roadent home was Daniel Bodman who finished 6th in 34.53, he was followed by Dave Hughes 47th 40.11, Laurence Pole 63rd 41.50, Huw Durham 88th 43.22, Dean Birt 93rd 43.47, Andy Dunscombe 124th 45.22 and Lee Sutherland 188th 50.11
In the Ladies Race first Roadent home was Kelly Morgan who finished 71st and was 3rd Lady, next in was Sheryl Rakei 185th 50.05, Rhian Durham 192nd 50.34, Elaine Sutherland 292nd 57.03 and Helen Welch 316th 60.14.
