Annual membership will be £25 per year for the year 2009, which
includes mandatory membership of Welsh Athletics plus insurance.
Membership of the Welsh Athletics Association means that
you pay a pound less for every race you enter, so if you aim
to compete in a number of races, you will get most of your
membership back, in the reduced amount you pay to
compete in each race.
Also one of the added benefits of becoming a member, is the chance
to gain a club entry for the London Marathon.
Membership fees and other income from the club are used for trophies,
race organisation, use of facilities at Treforest Playing Fields and support
of a wide range of other club activities, such as the Man versus Horse, Rack Raid, Langport etc.
The club accounts are presented in detail to club members at the AGM, which
takes place every November. All members are encouraged to actively participate
in the running of the club and help shape its future.
