Cardiff Bay 5 Mile 7th May 2012

Posted on May 07, 2012 under Race Results and Comments | 10 Comments

Despite very heavy rain which ruined the race build up, it did ease after the start.

The course seemed to change in the middle where we were directed through a car park, this could be the reason for most Garmins measuring the course at 5.10+ Miles.

There were 519 finishers and we had nine Roadents taking part.

Well done to everyone who took park especially Fiona Campbell who was taking part for the first time.

The were a number of pbs Carl and Jan Edwards once again showing how much they have improved.

First Roadent home was Carl Edwards 101st 36.09 SB and a PB followed by Andy Davies 106th 36.21 SB, Ffion Davies 114th 37.07, Jan Edwards 141st 38.18 SB and a PB, Andy Dunscombe 153rd 38.36 SB, Catrin Davies 191st 40.08, Helen Welch 379th 48.01 SB, Fiona Campbell 487th 58.41, Nick Pounder 488th 58.40

(Daniel Bodman 9th in 28.29 come back Dan all is forgiven ha)
