Description
A 10-mile mixed terrain course through Parc Penallta, starting and finishing at Penallta House, Tredomen Park.
The course is undulating with one uphill/downhill section taking you up to Sultan the Pit Pony sculpture.
The race originally started and finished at Pontypridd R. F. C.’s Sardis Road ground. Due to a mix-up with marshals, the runners went the wrong way and ran the course in reverse. So from then on, the Reverse 10 was born.
In keeping with tradition, the race’s mile markers count down from 9 to 1, not up.
