Roman Run 6th September 2008
Posted on Sep 08, 2008 under Running News |We had four Roadents taking part in the tough 16 mile Roman Run.
First Roadent home was Kelly Morgan in 2hrs 8mins. Kelly continued to show she is in great form finishing second Lady in the race.
With conditions very wet the renowned Roman Road was renamed the Roman River for the day.
Unfortunately Roadent Anne Follan took a nasty fall on the rocky section and had to spend some time at the casualty dept.
It was good to see some of our newer members tackling such a tough course, Steve Warrel was in good form finishing in 2hrs 9mins 10 secs. and Nigel Jones just behind in 2hrs 45mins.
