We had 14 Roadents taking part, Congratulations to Kelly Morgan on winning 1st Lady in the race, also to Brian Gough and Peter Coles on winning their age categories.
There were 534 finishers

There were 501 finishers. We had one Roadent taking part.
Nick Frost 10th in the race 1st Vet 50 and 2nd overall Vet.

Good turnout for this festive run with 7 ponty nutters taking part. There were 564 finishers.
Rhodri Evans 42.16 25th, Andy Dunscombe 53.53 199th, Carl Edwards 55.00 227th, Russ Bown 55.38 244th, Nick Pounder 55.38 245th, Lee Sutherland 56.03 255th, Warren Tilke 56.58 263rd.
My claim to fame is being the first person to stop for a slurp of booze at the half way stage which i regretted for the rest of the race. Pounder had a brandy and a shortbread which he is saying stopped him beating carl and russ.
Good sprint finish between russ and nick with pounder using his elbow’s like a footballer to good effect,but at the death russ held on to take the spoils.Rematch next year boys?
