Helen you are the only woman who has said they were going to run so stay at home in the warm, boys due to a family matter I am not able to attend on Saturday, so someone else will have to organise the team, at the moment its down to Jason, Rhodri, Doc, Dan, Brian G, Phil Meyler and a hobbling Russ. If somebody wants to organise a bus, you will have to hire and pay for it and get the money back from Nick, otherwise perhaps organise yourself into 2 cars, weather permitting. Apologies Andrew

Nice running conditions with a bit of chill to keep you running faster! The beach as always was a long slog.

Mens Race 291 finishers
We had sixteen Roadents taking part in the Bridgend cross country. Everyone gave 100% for the club and should be proud of their efforts.
In the mens race there was a big effort from Daniel Bodman to finally get the better of Peter Coles, despite leading the Doc for most of the race, Daniel just ran out of steam in the last mile, but was only seconds behind and can be very pleased with his performance.
Steve Pritchard was not far behind and finished well up the field in 46th place, Andy Baker back after an injury managed 113th. A special well done to Lee Sutherland who completed his first cross country for the club.
Mens A Team
Peter Coles 20th, Daniel Bodman 21st, Steven Pritchard 46th, Andy Baker 113th, Rhodri Evans 117th, Steve Hooper 147th.
Mens B Team
Phil Meyler 167th, Richard Day 210th, Huw Durham 219th, Rob Ford 242nd, Andy Dunscombe 247th Lee Sutherland 274th.
Ladies 171 finishers
In the Ladies race we had four finishers, Stephanie Davies running for the senior Team for the first time went off very fast in the first lap,but paid the price and was soon overtaken by Rhian Hopkins who put in a very strong performance and finished very strong.
It was great to see Helen Welch and Elaine Diosi taking part in their first cross country for the club, both can be very proud of their efforts.

A good turn out for the final race in the series, we had six Roadents taking part.
First Roadent home was Peter Coles in 21.31 followed by Nick Frost 22.10, Andy Baker 24.02, Steve Hooper 24.19, Phil Meyler 25.19 and Stephanie Davies 30.33.
Peter Coles won the series and was also 1st Vet 45 , Stephanie Davies was 1st Junior Female in the series.

Another very warm evening for the 4 mile race. We had 8 Roadents taking part.
All eyes were on the ladies race between Kelly and Sally of San Dom. Both were locked together until the last mile when Sally managed to put a winning gap between them, Despite coming 2nd on the night Kelly should be very happy with her performance finishing in a new PB of 24.43.
Other Roadents taking part were Steve Hooper 23.41, Rhodri Evans 24.44, Phil Meyler 25.06 1st vet 50 for the series. Dean Birt 27.35, Steph Davies 29.45, Debbie Jones 32.11, Rhian Durham 32.54.
