Hi to you all, what a great weekend was had by all who took part in this years Welsh Castles Relays. 209 miles Caernavon to Cardiff over 2 days.

A big thank you to all club members who took part, the weather was once again very hot and i know many of us suffered with the heat.
Not to forget most of us suffered with the effects of alcohol abuse ha!ha!

Our overall position was 28th out of 59 teams, you can now view the result for each leg on the les croups web site under castle relays. Castles Results 2007

I have to mention the great work that was put in by Maggot,Chris Johns, Nick and Sue who worked so hard to get everyone to their legs on time.

Kelly Morgan showed how strong she is despite running one of the hill legs on the Saturday she also ran for the police on the Sunday a great effort.

Another castles has come and gone
My they move so fast
But I fear for some roadents
could it be their last

It’s not the running that gets them
or the midday heat
Drinking till 4 in the morning
That’s the hardest feat

But there,s no need to worry
We have a nurse at hand
Elvis to sing the music
And his Merry band

We’ve now got Sat-Nav guidance
And police support from Kelly
But it’s no use for Maggot
He can’t see past his BELLY

There’s no time to mention everyone
The full crew that took part
Everyone who gave their all
They ran with all their heart

29th I’m proud to say
But I know we could have won
But does it really matter
We all had so much FUN!!!!!
